UH Cancer Center Clinical Trial Campaign Identity

Heavily inspired by the many different colors of ribbons for all cancer types, this logo showcases the iconic cancer ribbon in a fresh new way. I chose to include a large spectrum of colors to show that the clinical trial offers something for a variety of cancer types. Stepping and repeating the ribbon in a circular shape symbolizes unity and the color of each ribbon extends into the next ribbon to further highlight the idea of cohesion and finding a cure together. The “one step closer” phrase references the client’s goal of increasing the amount of participants in clinical trials (20% increase by 2025), and also suggests to the general public that this initiative will get them one step closer to the cure. The strengths of this logo is that it is fun and inviting, and is still strong in black & white because the idea of unity and coming together to get one step closer to the cure is still there.
